Post-Facial Aftercare Guide
Over the next few days, your skin may continue to rebalance, and that’s completely normal.
💧 FACIAL AFTERCARE TIPS
- Keep your skin hydrated and nourished: Drink plenty of water and use hydrating skincare products to maintain your glow. Your skin is in renewal mode and needs extra moisture.
- Avoid sun exposure for 24–48 hours: Your skin is more sensitive after treatment. Always apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+, even if it’s cloudy, and avoid direct sunlight when possible. (I recommend mineral based SPF over Chemical Based SPF, especially for sensitive or acne prone skin.)
- Skip active ingredients for 48–72 hours: Avoid exfoliating or using products with retinol, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, lactic acid, mandelic acid, glycolic acid, AHAs/BHAs, or vitamin C until your skin feels less sensitive. Also do not use any acne medication or over the counter topicals.
- No picking: If you notice mild flaking or dryness, please do not rub, pick, or peel. Allow your skin to shed naturally for the best results.
- Keep your routine simple for the first 48 hours: Gentle Cleanser, hydrating toner, Hypochlorus mist, hydrating serum, moisturizer SPF (during the daytime) is usually great for the first 48 hours post. You may then reintroduce some of your actives as long as your skin does not feel sensitive or irritated. Please always listen to your skin.
- Skip heat and sweat for 24 hours: Avoid saunas, steam rooms, or the gym so your skin can heal and rebalance without added stress.
- Purging: If you’re prone to acne, you may notice a few small breakouts or “purging” as your skin begins to detox and adjust to the treatment. This is temporary and part of the process of clearing and renewing your complexion. Please do not pick at your skin. You may ice those areas in circular motions for 1-2 mins post facial and apply spot treatment.
SKIN TIPS
- Celery juice before breakfast on an empty stomach. 3-4 celery stalks blended with 8 oz. of water.
- Ice the skin for 2–3 minutes in circular motion. (cool globe or ice roller, wrap ice in a soft cloth if your skin is sensitive).
- Omega 3s, Vitamin C, Zinc (please check with your physician as well)
- Please no picking at your skin. Stay positive and be kind to yourself.

Post-Chemical Peel Aftercare Guide
Over the next few days, your skin may continue to rebalance, and that’s completely normal.
💧 CHEMICAL PEEL AFTERCARE TIPS
- Keep your skin hydrated and protected: Drink plenty of water, and fresh juices (celery or cucumber are wonderful for hydration and detox).
- Do not pick, peel, or rub your skin: Light flaking or shedding is completely normal as new, healthy skin emerges. Allow the process to unfold naturally to prevent scarring or hyperpigmentation.
- Avoid active ingredients until your skin is fully healed: Skip retinol, vitamin C, AHAs/BHAs, enzymes, or exfoliants for at least 5–7 days, or until your skin feels calm and smooth.
- Avoid heat and sweat for 48–72 hours: No gym, sauna, hot showers, or steam rooms. Excess heat can trigger irritation and compromise your results.
- Be mindful of sun exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight for at least one week post-peel. If you must be outdoors, wear a hat, seek shade, and reapply sunscreen every 2 hours.
- Keep it simple. For the first few days post-peel, your skincare routine should focus on gentle cleanser, hydrating mist, nourishing serum, barrier-rebuilding moisturizer, and SPF 30+ daytime.
SKIN TIPS
- Hydrate deeply! Drink plenty of water, and fresh juices (celery or cucumber are wonderful for hydration and detox).
- Gently press a cool disposable towelette to alleviate any discomfort if needed and if skin is very itchy, tight, or sensitive.
- Support from within. Omega-3s, Vitamin C, and Zinc help repair skin faster (check with your physician before starting supplements).
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods for 2-3 days post. Alcohol can cause flushing and increased bloodflow to the skin, which may lead to extra redness, sensitivity, or irritation after a peel and impede the healing process.
- Be gentle with yourself. Healing takes time. Avoid magnified mirrors and judgment. Your skin is renewing healing, protecting you, and becoming healthier everyday.
- Avoid waxing, facials, Botox, dermal fillers, or any advanced skincare treatments for 10 days to 2 weeks after your session.everyday.

Post-Microneedling Aftercare Guide
Your skin may experience mild redness, sensitivity, or tightness for a few days following treatment. This is very normal. Treat your skin gently to avoid any irritation during the recovery period 5–7 days post.
💧 Microneedling Aftercare Tips
Cleansing & Hydration
- Wash treated areas twice daily using a gentle, non-exfoliating cleanser and lukewarm water.
- Use fingertips only, pressing lightly rather than rubbing in circular motions. Avoid washcloths, brushes, or sponges, especially when skin begins to flake.
- Keep skin well-hydrated with recommended serums and moisturizers.
- Drink at least 6–8 glasses of water (8 oz each) per day to maintain hydration.
Activity & Heat Exposure
- Avoid exercise for 24 hours and refrain from strenuous workouts for 2–3 days post-treatment.
- Avoid direct sunlight, saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, hot tubs, and hot baths until redness resolves.
- Refrain from swimming in pools for one week, particularly chlorinated water.
Sun Protection
- SPF is not recommended on the day of treatment due to a small risk of granuloma formation.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 2–4 weeks post-treatment, including tanning beds.
- Apply mineral-based SPF (zinc or titanium oxide) only after 24 hours. Apply 30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 1.5–2 hours while outdoors.
First 24 Hours
- Do not wash your face. Allow treatment serums to fully absorb.
- You may apply a cool compress with a disposable towelette to alleviate tightness or discomfort.
- Avoid touching, picking, or applying makeup.
- Mild redness, warmth, or tightness is normal.
24–72 Hours
- Cleanse gently with lukewarm water and mild, non-exfoliating cleanser.

- Only use mineral sunscreen (SPF 30+) if exposure is necessary.
- Avoid sweating, exercise, swimming, and saunas.
What to Avoid for 1 Week
- No retinol, vitamin C, AHAs/BHAs, or harsh scrubs.

- Light flaking or dryness may occur; allow skin to shed naturally.
- Keep skin moisturized and protected daily with SPF.
- Results will gradually improve over 4–6 weeks.
Pro Tip: Think “gentle, hydrating, and protective” for the first week. Your skin is working hard to renew itself. Protect it with SPF, wear a hat outdoors, and keep it hydrated. You have new, delicate skin coming in, so treat it with care.
SKIN TIPS
- SPF is not recommended on the day of treatment.
- Do not pick, pull, or rub dead skin off. Allow natural shedding to prevent scarring or pigmentation.
- Hydrate deeply! Drink plenty of water; fresh juices like celery or cucumber are great for hydration and detox.
- Gently press a cool disposable towelette to alleviate discomfort if skin is itchy, tight, or sensitive.
- If the neck or décolletage were treated, mild redness may persist slightly longer.
- Support from within: Omega-3s, Vitamin C, and Zinc can aid healing (check with your physician before supplements).

Post-Brow Lami & Wax Aftercare Guide
Proper aftercare is important for maintaining the results of your brow lamination procedure, which typically lasts between 4-6 weeks.
✨ BROW LAMI & WAX AFTERCARE TIPS
- Avoid moisture: Do not get brows or lashes wet for 24 hours after the treatment.
- Avoid heat and sweat for 24–48 hours: Avoid hot baths/showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours.
- Skip makeup and active products for 24 hours: Refrain from wearing eye makeup for 12 hours and use oil-free makeup remover when necessary.
- Protect: Avoid touching or rubbing the eye or eyebrow area to prevent irritation.
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 48 hours: Limit exposure to direct sunlight to avoid weakening the relaxer agent and fading the tint color.
- Preserve your Lami: Avoid using chlorine and exfoliating skincare products around brow line, as they may shorten the effects of the lamination and tint.
SKIN TIPS
- Once you move on from this part of the process, please use the castor oil to help hydrate the hair.
- If you would like more of a wet look, you may apply during day, if not, I recommend in the evenings/during the night.
- It is very important to keep the hair of the brow hydrated with the castor oil (think like conditioner for your hair after you wash)
- Brush your brows gently into place and keep them hydrated.
